Kunal Tayal is an entrepreneur, investor, and cross-border advisor passionate about innovation, education, and community development. As the founder of Kuma Capital, he invests in startups and traditional businesses while also advising companies through Kuma Advisors on market expansion, manufacturing transitions, and U.S.–India/Southeast Asia strategy.
Kunal brings two decades of global leadership experience, including a long tenure at Cummins where he led digital transformation and product innovation efforts. He is currently involved in ventures across consumer goods, sustainable infrastructure, and international sourcing.
Educated at Stanford University, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Kunal combines deep operational insight with a global mindset.
At DNOVA, Kunal supports the organization’s mission to empower youth through STEM innovation and education, bringing both strategic vision and grassroots engagement to the board.
