Health & Science Innovations (HSI) announces the appointment of Maria Paula Franco, former Assistant Director of Finance at HSI, as the 5th Treasurer of the Board of Directors. This appointment directly follows the tenure of Kanch Ishwar as 4th Treasurer of the Board.
“[I] thought joining the board was a great opportunity to give back to an organization. I believe in [HSI] because I have witnessed the growth and development of our kids,” states Maria Paula. “I love that our Board of Directors is very diverse and I would like for all of this to be translated in everything we do at HSI. I want for our kids to value and recognize the importance of diversity while going to their programs”
Maria Paula Franco was first introduced to the Organization as a volunteer helping to organize financials. Following her volunteer work, Maria became Finance & Development Manager for HSI and was later promoted to Assistant Director of Finance. After her transition to Assistant Business Manager at the I.U. School of Medicine, Maria accepted a position on the Board of Directors at HSI. After serving on the Board for a year, she has been appointed Treasurer.

Her prior work experience and education has proven to be an effective asset in the development of our organization and execution of our mission. Her hard work, dedication, and ethics have fueled her “Rise to the Top” and I am confident that she will continue to be a great asset to our organization.”
As VP of Commercial Banking at BMO Harris Bank, Kanch Iswar has used her amazing prowess in the financial services field to serve on the Board of Directors for HSI for the past three years. “I was motivated to join the Board of HSI as I was drawn to its mission toward youth and education” says Ishwar.
