Mentors Needed in Areas of Sports Medicine
Every athlete aspires to reach their maximum potential in his or her own respective sport; this is accomplished through athletic performance tests and exercises. For example, the VO2 max test measures how efficiently your body uses oxygen and is great to show athletes their physical strength. Unfortunately when athletes are tested, tests inventors completely leave out any form of mental tests. If an athlete is not mentally prepared for a game, then he or she will not perform as well.
Our project will bring together the components that make great athletes, creating one mass series of tests to show them their areas of strengths and weaknesses. These tests will ensure they know how to make themselves better athletes both physically and mentally.
