After more than a year of distancing and remote learning, it’s time for our children and youth to be curious together again: to connect, discover, and create. Health & Science Innovations (HSI) is excited to announce the opening of Innovation Boulevard, a new afterschool program where students can do just that!
In partnership with the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township and thanks to the Indiana Department of Education award of a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, Innovation Boulevard will be possible at Belzer and Fall Creek Valley Middle Schools. This out-of-school time program is an essential opportunity for middle schoolers to go beyond school and learn new concepts in tech skills, culture, science, design, cooking, academic acceleration, and more. It will provide them the chance to explore their curiosity, get help on their homework, and form bonds with their peers.
Starting August 23rd, the program will run in both middle schools Monday through Thursday from 3:45 until 6:15 pm. Participation is free, and transportation and snacks will be provided. Learn more at innovationblvd.org
